ROBESON COMMUNITY COLLEGE (WEB

The Robeson Community College is fully committed to effective
workplace development, continuing education, small business and
apprenticeship programs in support of COMtech tenants.
Curriculum
programs of study lead to the awarding of a certificate, diploma
or Associate Degree. Twenty-three programs are offered that
include College Transfer, Nursing, and Electrical/ Electronics
Technology among others.
Continuing Education
Small Business Center – The center is designed to meet
the training needs of small business owners, managers, and other
personnel, as well as entrepreneurs planning to start a small
business. Training sessions are offered as workshops, seminars,
and short term courses. The center also offers confidential
business counseling at no charge and has available resource
support assets such as publications, audiotapes, computer
software, and videos to help with business research and problem
solving to meet your needs.
PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF ROBESON COUNTY (WEB

With
24,000 students and 41 school sites, the Public Schools of
Robeson County is the ninth largest system in North Carolina.
Workforce
development initiatives managed by the system enable students to
participate in such learning programs as JobReady, College Tech
Prep and High Schools that Work. High
school business labs have state-of-the-art hardware and software
to enable students to perform tasks and enhance skills required
to perform well in the “world of work”. These initiatives and
others stress the key role of technology in the workplace.
All are intensly focused on the success of educating and
training our future workforce.
